Create your first app

The fastest way to start is to describe the app you want. Emberblocks drafts a plan — tables, columns, references, even starter workflows — and shows it to you for review before anything is created.

  1. 1

    Create a workspace

Sign up and name your workspace. Workspaces hold your apps and teammates — most teams need exactly one.

  2. 2

    Describe the app

Press New app and write what you need in plain language: "An applicant tracker: candidates with stage, role, and interviewer; a kanban by stage; a form for referrals." The more concrete your nouns, the better the draft.

  3. 3

    Review the proposal

AI returns a plan: the tables it will create, each column with its type, and how tables reference each other. Nothing is saved yet — accept it, or adjust the description and regenerate.

  4. 4

    Land in the builder

On accept, Emberblocks creates real tables and drops you into the builder with your draft app. From here everything is visual — see Build your first view.

Prefer a blank start?

You can also start empty and add tables by hand in the Data module — AI is a head start, not a requirement. Inside the builder, AI assists remain available for expressions, views, workflows, and even generating sample rows.
