Compact list block

Data view

The compact list block renders records as a dense, single-column list: an optional round or square image, a primary line, a secondary line, and a badge. It shines in narrow grid cells where a table wouldn't fit.

Try it: Switch the image shape and sort field in the settings strip, then click a row to open its record.
Settings
Team
Example. A compact list block over a Team table in a narrow column: avatars from the Photo field (initials when a person has none), Name as the primary line, Role as the secondary line, and the Status field as the trailing badge. Row click opens the person's record page.

When to use it

  • People and contact lists — the circular image shape gives you avatars for free.
  • Sidebars and split layouts: compact list on the left, record block on the right.
  • Recent-activity feeds sorted by a date field.

Settings

SettingWhat it does
Primary fieldThe main line of each list item.
Secondary fieldOptional supporting line beneath it.
Image fieldOptional avatar/thumbnail column.

Like every block, this one also has the shared block settings: a title and optional description, a header you can show or hide, auto-height, conditional visibility, and role-based visibility, plus the source table and record-filter settings shared by all data blocks.
